Teeku Patel, takes you on a journey through northern Tanzania - Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The scenery is spectacular at the start of the green season. Annually thousands of Wildebeest and Burchell’s Zebra migrate en mass north from the Seregeti into Kenya’s Masai Mara as they follow the rains. The return leg of the journey brings the large herds along the eastern boundary of the Masai Mara and into the Serengeti, where they give birth to half a million young animals. The calving season makes for incredible photo safaris, as the herds begin to disperse and the pace of the migration slows down, allowing you to capture the sense of serenity and rejuvination that the Serengeti National Park has to offer during this period. The wildlife viewing at this time of year is simply awesome.
